St. Patrick’s Day ParadeThe Denver St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held on Saturday, March 13 downtown in the morning. All our dancers and families are invited to join us! Kids under the age of 7 will ride on our truck. They can wear pants and a Heritage t-shirt or sweatshirt. They will need a parent to ride on the truck with them (and the parent will also need a Heritage t-shirt or sweatshirt). Parents, siblings, friends, and dancers who'd prefer to march need to wear a Heritage t-shirt or sweatshirt; dancers who would like to dance should wear their Heritage costume. Heritage t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, knit caps, and baseball caps are available at Irish Butterfly, or we can bring your size to class with us. Just let us know!
March ClassesWe will not be having class March 12-18. To ensure that everyone gets four classes, the month of March will end Sunday, April 4th. Dancers will not earn make-ups from these days because we have four classes in March and four classes in April.
In case of bad weather, please call us on our cell phone, (720) 327-2887, to find out the status of your class.
Shows Open to the PublicWe perform 50-75 times throughout the year. Most of these shows are booked by private groups for schools, nursing homes, luncheons, and similar events, so they are not open to the public. However, this year we have several shows that are open to the public! Below is a list of these shows (so you can invite your friends and family). Looking for a Summer Job?
We’ve got several summer employment opportunities available: We’re looking for people to teach Under 7 classes during the day over the summer. These classes feature kids ages 3-6, and they play games, do stretches, learn the basics, and have a lot of fun! If you are 16 or older and love working with young children, let us know! We are planning on having Under 7 classes at all four of our locations over the summer, and we are flexible about days and times. As always, if you are 13 or older and Intermediate 1 and above, we invite you to be a teaching assistant for our other levels of class! Let us know if you’re interested. We’d like to expand our store hours over the summer, so we will need friendly, knowledgeable people to help fit and sell shoes. Open to ages 16 and older. If you’re interested in any of these opportunities, give Ariel a call or send her an email. Thanks!
Questions? Please feel free to email us at HeritageIrish@aol.com or call us at (720) 747-9377! Thanks for dancing with us!
